ROLE – Sales Manager – Marine Equipment
My client is a leading distributor, across 3 specific and diverse sectors. A requirement has been made to recruit a first-class Sales Manager to lead the sales function for their Marine Equipment division.
The role is a hands-on leadership role to manage the sales team for the Marine Equipment division, which includes a directly employed sales team and self-employed sales agents. It will be a role that is primarily out in the field with the team and customers, driving the sales and strategy for the sales team.
The role has 6 line reports and reports itself into the Head of Marine.
Candidate – Sales Manager – Marine Equipment:
- Ideally 5-10 years’ management experience in managing a sales team for a Distributor. Preferably this will be in Marine, but they will consider other backgrounds of Distribution.
- Essential the candidate has managed a large volume of SKU’s/catalogue of products.
- It requires someone with ambition, high-energy and dynamism, as it is a fantastic opportunity to lead an already successful division.
- You must be based in the South of England, with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.
- Strong people manager and experience of managing a similar sized team.
