Area Sales Manager - Materials Handling

Location: Midlands - home based, but ideally commutable to Northamptonshire / Warwickshire

Salary: £30,000 to £45,000 plus Uncapped Commission, Company Car and Pension

Role - Area Sales Manager - Materials Handling:

Our client is a specialist in the supply & hire of forklift trucks, reach trucks, access equipment, warehouse equipment, attachments and service contracts across the UK, who have customer service at the heart of their business.

They have an extensive client base, with customers in many different markets, including education, FMCG, logistics, manufacturing and media.

They are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover the Midlands region, with potential for people management responsibility.

Your main focus will be winning new business across the region, but you will also be responsible for managing existing accounts.

This role is ideally suited to a proactive sales person, with a proven track record of winning new business within the materials handling market.

Candidate - Sales Manager - Materials Handling:

The ideal applicant for this role will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Sales experience in the materials handling industry
  • Proven new business winner
  • Customer focused
  • People management experience (this is not essential)
  • Self-motivated and driven by success
  • Determined and enthusiastic
  • Based 'on patch' in the Midlands
