Role: Area Sales Manager - Power, Lighting and Climate Solutions

Location: Home Based - Northern England Coverage

Area Sales Manager - Power, Lighting and Climate Solutions:

My client is a company in the Construction and Electrical industry who develop, manufacture and market complete solutions for Power, Lighting and Climate across a wide range of sectors. A decision has been made to recruit an Area Sales Manager to cover the Northern half of the UK.

This is an exciting and challenging role, with the opportunity to take control and responsibility for a region of an established and growing business. The role is mainly a new business development type role with some account management, with the overall objective of increasing the turnover and profitability of the region.

Candidate:

The successful candidate needs to be someone who has two to three years' sales experience, preferably within the UK Hire sector, whether that is selling to the sector or coming from a hire a company, as the target customer base is the UK rental sector, therefore someone with knowledge of how the sector works is essential.

In terms of the character expectation, you need to be driven, self-motivated and scalable. Candidates must have sales experience with proven results gained from tenacity, an organised approach, a high work ethic and ambition to succeed.

Ideally, you would be based in the Northern region and be able to cover the whole of the region as and when is required.
