AREA SALES MANAGER - DIAMOND TOOLS & ACCESSORIES

Location - London

Salary/Package - £25,000 to £35,000 Basic Salary, Bonus, Company Car, Pension, Healthcare and 20 Days Holiday

My client is one of the leading Diamond Drilling, Cutting and Grinding Solutions manufacturers in Europe. A truly innovative business who passionately believe in giving customers the opportunity to experience the difference with their products through professional consultative selling. Established over 40 years ago they now have a great infrastructure such as experienced support staff and systems.

Due to growth the business is now able to add an Area Sales Manager for the West London area. As Area Sales Manager you will be expected to manage over 400+ accounts mostly end users within the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to work responsibly within a successful international company to become an integral and valuable team member, a long-term career

Responsibilities:

  • Grow sales through showing the difference: Fully support customers with live product demonstrations, product training, technical advice, end user support and store all concept enhancing the brand reputation for excellence
  • New accounts: Identify and develop new accounts that want to promote premium branded products as part of their strategy
  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships on all levels helping them find the most suitable solutions for their target groups
  • Competitor Analysis: Regularly report on competitors' activities and market development trends

The successful candidate will already be an Area Sales Manager/Business Development Manager ideally within construction/building products/DIY and based in London, ideally West London.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A passion for technical tools
  • Effective analysis, time management and planning skills are essential
  • Sales experience in a B2B account management role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A developed ability to think and act commercially
  • A thirst to learn and challenge yourself coupled with a strong team ethic
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the UK
  • Experience in selling premium brand products and business growth proposals to our client base
