My client is a leading UK Tool Hire business, with a nationwide branch network. Due to an internal move, a requirement has been made to recruit an Asset Availability & Disposal Manager to take responsibility for the controlled disposals of their hire fleet.

You will identify items that may be obsolete or beyond repair across their UK network, working with the Regional Directors to ensure this process is managed in a timely manner.

Preparation of the equipment for sale at auction is handled by you and your team, you will also be required to manage the logistical movements to their auction locations.

Working closely with the Asset Director you will be required to produce monthly analysis and reporting for the business on their fleet stocks and availability, ensuring their operations are optimising their hire product availability for customers at all times. For this reason, excellent working knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets are required.


Knowledge & experience required:

  • Tool hire industry experience
  • PC Skills; Intermediate level user of Word, & Excel essential. Tests of Excel during interview stage.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fleeted products
  • Commitment to continual improvement
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
