Role: Business Development Manager- South-East - Climate Solutions

 

Location: Home Based – London/ South-East coverage

 

Salary: £40k- £50k basic, annual bonus, pension, phone, + car

 

Business Development Manager- Climate Solutions:

 

My client is a global manufacturer of climate-based products such as driers, heaters and dehumidifiers. They have continued to have success during the COVID-19 restrictions and as a result the decision has been made to recruit a Business Development Manager to cover the London and South-East regions.

 

This is an exciting and challenging role, with the opportunity to take control and have the responsibility of potentially the most lucrative region in the country for an established and growing business. The role is a project-based sales role, targeting rental companies, contractors and FM businesses.

 

This role will suit an ambitious, dynamic salesperson capable of developing new business opportunities and optimising existing accounts in line with strategic objectives. This is a customer facing, field-based role targeted on new business development from prospects, as well as developing and maintaining a base of existing customers. The role will report to the Director of the UK business.

 

Candidate:

 

  • The successful candidate needs to be someone who has at least 3 years proven sales and/ or hire experience from a climate/ HVAC business.
  • You must be a proven project-based specification salesperson with excellent technical knowledge of climate products.
  • They are looking for a target-driven sales hunter with account management capabilities. You must have a proven track record in sales and new business development and have experience of selling a hire solution.
  • You must work well within a team and be highly driven by achieving profitable business, to maximise an uncapped bonus scheme.
  • In terms of the character expectation, you need to be driven, self-motivated and scalable. Candidates must have sales experience with proven results gained from tenacity, an organised approach, a high work ethic and ambition to succeed.
  • You will be based in the South-East.
