Role: Business Development Manager - Generator Manufacturer

Based: South-East Office Based

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 Basic plus OTE, car or car allowance, healthcare + pension

ROLE - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - GENERATORS:

My client is a leading global manufacturer of Generators, with both a standard product and major product range between 750 KVA - 4000 KVA. A requirement has been made to recruit a first-class Business Development Manager to develop relationships and secure major projects.

The role reports directly into a Managing Director and offers future development potential. The position is integral to the business in making sure relationships are suitably made with key decision makers in consultants, contractors and end-users across the South-East. The role will be the lead person with the customer and will be in involved with the bid process. The role has the overall objective of securing major global generator projects.

Candidate - GENERATORS:

  • You will need at least 5 years' relevant Business Development experience. It would be ideal, but not essential if the candidate came from a Generator background or at least an associated product background like switchgear, UPS Systems or Engines for example.

  • It would be preferred, but not essential if you have an engineering qualification.

  • It would be preferred, but not essential that you have a history of developing relationships to secure major projects with end-users for data-centre projects.

  • You will need to be commutable to the office in the South-East.
