Business Development Manager - Home Fragrance/Gift/Home Décor

Field based - 1 day a week in Manchester
My client is a successful, ambitious and forward-thinking company that distributes its brands across the United Kingdom, Ireland and the rest of Europe through national and independent accounts as well as other parts of the world, through distributors. Specialising in Aroma Diffusers, Fragrance and Wellness products.
Due to growth, a great opportunity has arisen for a proactive, dynamic and charismatic sales professional to join their dedicated and hard-working team. As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for expanding the customer portfolio with a new customer base of National retail accounts in UK & Ireland within home fragrance, aromatherapy, home fragrance and wellness sectors. This role is 100% new business focused, however there will be an opportunity to manage and develop accounts once opened.
The Role Requirements:
To be successful for this position you will have experience of selling a branded consumer good product to national retailers ideally within Giftware, Homeware or Home Fragrance. Other product experience will be considered such as luxury goods/high end products. You must have a proven track record of opening national retail accounts and be willing to travel across the UK and be commutable to Manchester one day a week.
