Internal Sales Executive / Telesales - Modular Building & Site Accommodation Hire

Location - Essex (this is an office-based role)

Salary - £20,000 to £23,000 Basic Salary plus Uncapped Monthly Commission, Life Assurance, Pension and 25 Days Holiday

Our client is a leading supplier or modular space in the UK, offering one of the largest fleets of site accommodation & secure storage units. From their national network of depots, these units are prepared for both rental and sales.

They now have an immediate requirement for an Internal Sales Executive, who will work in a highly customer focussed role, being responsible for developing new sales opportunities via outbound activity to increase the customer base and ensure all targets are achieved, whilst also dealing with incoming enquiries from existing and new customers to provide a full product and service solution.

The Role - Internal Sales Executive / Telesales - Modular Building & Site Accommodation Hire:

Reporting into the Internal Sales Manager, you will be working as part of an internal sales team based within a regional depot, tasked with providing sales information & support to the Area Sales Manager.

It will be important for you to build effective working relationships with operational support staff to ensure you provide the customer with a professional & comprehensive service.

Working towards agreed sales targets, you will handle incoming sales enquiries, converting into an order whenever possible, as well generating new sales opportunities through outbound calls to new, existing and lapsed customers, offering a best-fit solution for their site accommodation & secure storage requirements.

Training and ongoing coaching will be provided by the company, to help you achieve your agreed goals & targets within the role.

The Candidate - Internal Sales Executive / Telesales - Modular Building & Site Accommodation Hire:

The ideal applicant for this role will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Plant / Tool Hire or construction industry experience (this is not essential)
  • Telesales experience (this is essential)
  • Customer Focussed
  • Experience of Objection Handling in a sales environment
  • Professional & friendly telephone manner
  • Excellent Communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Target Driven
  • Team player
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated
  • Organised
