This would require someone to utilise Lean Management skills in order to identify areas to remove waste from operational processes, as well as from the change process itself. They must be able to monitor and manage the execution of changes in ways of working, processes, people and technology.
It is important in this role to be able to create/maintain an environment in which the company can practice continuous improvement - facilitating innovation and engagement by motivating and inspiring teams to challenge conventional thinking. Additionally, it would require someone to deploy team-based problem solving using standard six sigma and lean methods whilst influencing senior management to support the continuous improvement approach to delivering change.
