National Account Manager - Industrial Channel

My client is a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of Power Tools, Lawn and Garden Equipment and Floorcare Equipment.

As National Account Manager you will have experience of managing at the highest levels within the UK Industrial channel. You will have an insatiable appetite for producing results and have a clear focus on delivering targets and strategies from the outset. You will inherit a portfolio of accounts within the Industrial channel including Cromwell, Brammer, Monks and Crane, RS Components. Experience managing these accounts at National Account level is important.

ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing national accounts within the Industrial channel
  • Maintain annual business plans at account level in conjunction with the corporate strategy
  • Overall P&L responsibility from gross turnover to operating income
  • To provide end user support to specific customers, when required, to aid business growth
  • Maximize turnover and profitability with existing accounts to achieve overall company targets
  • Identify new opportunities for business growth within existing accounts & prospects through strategic product range development and promotional planning to maximize business to achieve turnover and profit targets
  • Forecasting - providing business with monthly turnover estimates in line with target/budget expectations when requested
  • Communication - keep internal stakeholders (management, finance, logistics, marketing, product development and customer services) up to date with key developments in accounts within the channel
  • Work closely with the Head of National Accounts to develop & advance the range into the UK Industrial channel
