National Account Manager/Business Development Manager - Ceramics/Table wear

Home based - 2 days a week in the office based in the midlands
My client is a well known premium branded ceramics business with over two centuries of success within the high-end ceramics industry. The business has entered a new phase in their history with a new owner and an ambitious growth plan over the next three years. The business is an innovative UK manufacturer with a large customer base including a very strong export account base.
Due to a change in strategy the business would like to add a National Account Manager/Business Development Manager to their team. As NAM/BDM you will be expected to open to new business accounts across both retail and hospitality targeting the likes of John Lewis, Selfridges and many 5-star hotels. Along with the new business element of the role you will also inherit a portfolio of accounts to develop and grow the overall turnover of your account base.
As NAM/BDM you must have a proven track record of opening new business accounts and generating an increase in overall account turnover. Experience selling branded products into the premium retailers such as John Lewis and Selfridges would be an advantage along with experience within the hospitality channel. You must be hungry, ambitious and have a real appetite for new business development.
