Role: National Service Engineer

Area Covered: UK

Salary: Competitive package depending on experience

ROLE - NATIONAL SERVICE ENGINEER - POWERED ACCESS MACHINERY:

My client is the European market leader in truck mounted platforms, and a decision has been made to expand their operations into the UK and Ireland, and in order to do so a decision has been made to recruit an excellent National Service Engineer. They are a multi-million-pound organisation, operating throughout Europe, with the capability to fulfil orders of any size.

The position reports directly into the Engineering Director and offers future development potential. The responsibility of the role will be to communicate with customers and organise and co-ordinate a network of 3rd party engineers to ensure that all customers receive the appropriate service. You will need to carry out repairs on machines that are within your locality. You will also need to liaise with the European Headquarters, in order to ensure that they are informed of any ongoing projects.

Candidate:

The ideal applicant for this role will need to demonstrate the following:

  • You will have a strong understanding of powered access machinery, or a related product.
  • You will come from an engineering background, as you need to carry out machine repairs and services when required.
  • You will be an excellent communicator, as you will have to manage relationships internally, with 3rd party engineers, and with customers.
  • Customer service focused
  • Ideally you will have people management experience.
  • Flexibility in your approach to work
  • You will need a full driving licence, and be willing to travel throughout the UK, and occasionally to Europe as required.
