Our client is a leading international rental company, specialising in boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers and vertical lifts. An opportunity has become available for 2 Field Service Engineers, one to cover the Essex, South East, East & North East London area, from Dartford up to Enfield and across into Essex and the other to cover the Berkshire, West London or North West London area, responsible for the installation, maintenance & repair of all powered access equipment.

Your day to day responsibilities will include pre-delivery inspections and where necessary completing LOLER examinations, preparing equipment for delivery, performing before & after use checks on equipment and compiling accurate activity reports, diagnosing and then repairing or replacing faulty parts & components and maintaining positive customer relations at all times, giving every job the highest level of customer service.


The ideal applicant will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous powered access Engineer experience
  • Experience of installation, maintenance & repair of powered access equipment
  • CAP (Competent Assessed Persons) certified
  • IPAF 3a & 3b
  • LOLER examination experience
  • Organisational skills
  • Flexibility
  • Problem solver
  • Teamwork
  • Customer service focused
  • Based in the Essex, South East, East or North East London, Berkshire, West London or North West London area
