Role: Sales Director
Salary: Competitive + healthcare, quarterly bonus, pension, phone, car, share saver options
My client is a leading hire business that can offer a wide variety of products, predominantly dealing with the construction and utility markets. A decision has been made to appoint a Sales Director to strategically grow their business.
This is a board level position and will have the overall objective increasing the turnover and profits of the business. You will be provided with both the finances and resources in order to do this, and in return you will be expected to help the company to develop into new market places, with the overall aim to increase the turnover and profits.
You will also be involved and potentially head up key tender proposals with leading clients, again to strategically grow the business.
The role will lead to future progression opportunities.
CANDIDATE - SALES DIRECTOR
Ideally you will have a background within the hire industry, however if you have worked for market leading companies within the construction sector this will be also considered. You will have worked at a senior management level in the past, you will be able to take an overview of the position, and operate and think strategically to achieve targets set of yourself.
You must be an excellent people manager, as the Sales Managers will report directly into yourself, and ultimately you will have overall responsibility for the full sales team.
This is a home-based role and you must be willing to travel nationally and occasionally internationally as the role demands.
