SALES DIRECTOR - Plant/Tool/Powered Access Hire:

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most successful construction equipment rental businesses in the UK. The role is a newly created position to drive the sales strategy of the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective national sales strategy, to include consistent and well managed sales processes. You will place strong emphasis on the coaching and development of your sales force of between 12-14 individuals, ensuring they are motivated and fully focussed on delivering maximum revenue, through a combination of effective portfolio and territory management.

The role reports directly to the Managing Director. You will have sole responsibility for all sales responsibilities.

Self motivated and driven by the personal need to succeed, you must also demonstrate the ability to combine these attributes with a collaborative approach to all fellow team members. You should prefer to lead by example, whilst recognising the need to both achieve and sustain the buy in of others.

Persuasive and personable, you should have a strong desire and ability to influence at all levels, both fellow team members and customers alike.

It is essential you have a proven track record of leading sales teams and formulating sales strategy in the UK Hire sector. Knowledge of the sector is essential and is a pre-requisite to applying.
