UK Sales Manager
My client is a leading provider of temporary access solutions incorporating Roadways, Walkways, Pitch Cover, Floating Pontoons & Rail Access products. The business has grown consistently since its inception, with an ever-increasing product offering and diverse customer base. As a result of this growth, a decision has been made to recruit a first class UK Sales Manager to head up all of the sales force across all of the divisions across the business, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
The overriding objective of this role is to grow the sales/revenue of the business. The position is an all-encompassing sales management position with an expectation to deliver sales, oversee major accounts, business development, formulate sales strategy, set the marketing agenda and above all effectively manage the sales team.
You will need to be ready for a middle management level sales position and not be someone who can 'grow' into a role, as immediate impact is sought, management experience of a sales team is essential. You will be someone who has proven sales experience, ideally in a related rental/hire background with experience of dealing with a Contractor customer base.
The most important factor is finding the correct character and finding someone who is commercially astute with the drive, resilience and robustness to handle and succeed in such a role.
It is an ideal role for an ambitious individual, as it gives the opportunity of being a senior manager of an established business with the genuine opportunity to progress if successful.
The role is national in its remit and you must be willing and able to cover a nationwide position. The home location is flexible, but a Midlands base would be ideal.
