Role: Workshop Manager – Plant Hire


Location: North Yorkshire


Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Basic (Subject to experience)




My client is a specialist provider of plant to industry. They require a Workshop Manager to manage a team of mechanics based out of a North Yorkshire facility.


This is an exciting and challenging role, with the opportunity to take control and responsibility for the depot. The role will have the responsibility to manage the operation on a day to day basis with full control of workshop staff and asset management of the equipment, the role reports into a Director.



Ideally, you will have an NVQ Level 3 plant, mechanics or agricultural engineering qualification along with management experience. You will need to be technically strong with a hands on approach and ability to lead and mentor your staff of 7, which includes apprentices.

Excellent organisational skills with a can do attitude is crucial to the success of this role
